StreetCleaningAlerts collects only the minimal data required to calculate municipal sweeping routes and deliver requested alerts:

• Service / Street Address: Used strictly to map your vehicle location to official city ward, section, and sweeping route shapefiles.
• Mobile Phone Number: Used exclusively to transmit transactional 8:00 PM evening-before and 7:00 AM morning-of SMS street sweeping reminders and 2FA login passcodes.
• Email Address (Optional): Used for account management, calendar schedule digests, and Stripe payment receipts.
• Payment Information: Processed through our PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant partner, Stripe. We never store or process raw credit card numbers on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data solely for operational, non-marketing notification services:

• Delivering automated SMS text reminders before your block’s street cleaning enforcement window begins.
• Alerting you to municipal holiday suspensions, winter seasonal pauses (such as Chicago DSS April–Nov rules), or weather cancellations.
• Authenticating your phone number via 6-digit one-time passcodes (OTP).
• Managing subscription status, renewals, and vehicle fleet settings.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We never sell, rent, or monetize your personal data. We share necessary data only with infrastructure providers strictly needed to execute our utility software:

• SMS Carrier Gateways: Sendly.live for carrier-grade toll-free transactional SMS delivery with TCPA compliance.
• Payment Gateways: Stripe, Inc. for encrypted billing and subscription management.
• Email Gateways: SendPulse / Sender for transactional email delivery.
• Edge Infrastructure: Cloudflare, Inc. for edge routing, D1 encrypted SQL hosting, and DDoS mitigation.

4. User Rights, STOP Opt-Out & Data Deletion

You maintain full sovereignty over your data and communication preferences:

• Instant SMS Opt-Out: Reply STOP, CANCEL, QUIT, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any text message at any time to instantly revoke consent and stop all automated alerts.
• SMS Assistance: Reply HELP to any text message for customer support details.
• Account & Address Deletion: You may request permanent deletion of your phone number and address records by contacting privacy@streetcleaningalerts.com.
